Description

Fine antique 19th century Russian triptych Icon,c1880. The Icon is beautifully cast in bronze and decorated in enamel depicting various religious scenes. There is a decorative top pediment with an original chain for hanging the icon. The colours of the enamel work are still wonderfully vibrant with bright blue, red, yellow and green colours. The bronze has aged well with great colour/patina. Overall condition is good with minor surface wear/marking exactly as you would expect from a piece of this age.
