Description

Antique early 19th century Napoleonic era prisoner of war domino set,c 1810. These pieces were made by captive prisoners of war to help pay for food /necessities and show great skill and craftsmanship. There are 28 hand carved mutton bone and wood inlaid domino pieces in an original hand crafted wood box. The box and pieces have great colour /patina which clearly shows their age.Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear / marking, exactly as you would expect from examples of this age.Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
