Description

A fine quality late 19th Century Chinese papier-mâché plate, c1880. The plate is highly decorated with figures, birds, foliage etc., and the quality of the decoration is very good.

The plate has aged nicely with great colour/patina. There are some surface rubbing and marks, as you would expect from a piece of this age. Overall we would say it is in good original condition commensurate with age and use.
