Description

Stunning large and very heavy French early 19th Century marble plaque, c1820.

It is beautifully decorated with Armorial/Coat of Arms motifs and has great patina/weathering from years of exposure to the elements. We have deliberately not cleaned it as consider the moss/colour to be part of its character. It was sourced from a Chateau in Northern France many years ago.

A great decorative piece for inside or out. Overall condition is good in line with its age and use.
