Amazing quality antique 19th century Art Nouveau pen dish and letter opener, both signed A Marionnet, c1890.

Albert Marionnet (1852-1910) is a noted French artist who specialised in bronze work/sculptures etc. It is rare to find a complete desk set like this as they are often split.
The quality of the casting is very fine, both items are a good weight and have very typical stylised Art Nouveau decoration. These include a mask of Bacchus and foliate scrolling on both.

Overall condition is good with only very minor surface wear and verdigris to the bronze. They both have good colour/patina.
