English Cartel Clock

Description
Rare mid 18th century English cartel clock by William Bath from Bristol.Lightly restored carved and gilded case with ho ho bird crest.
8” silvered and engraved brass dial, with Roman and Arabic numerals. Mock pendulum above dial centre, with original blued steel hands. Dial protected by concave cast brass bezel.
“A” plated verge escapement with bob pendulum. Original steel strap securing movement and dial to case.
