early 20th century. Probably the last of these great prayer rug designs coming into the 20th century. With oil or tea ewers either side of the prayer arch. Pale aquamarine used throughout it's design. Has had a lot of work done including ends even and tied off,hand washed and de-dusted,last images. Side cords good,has low pile and light wear. Great for wall hangings these rugs. I have many around my house. 5 foot 6 inches x 4 foot 1 inches. 168cm x 126cm. Fringes not measured in size. Wool pile hand knotted onto light pink dyed cotton weft foundations. Undyed white cotton warp threads. Realistically priced money indeed £345 gbp. U. K post £20.
