South west persia,late 19th century. A long and narrow khamseh hall runner. With 10 pale blue central diamond shaped medallions scattered with peacocks and pecking chickens on a light red ground colour. Hand washed and de-dusted. Ends and sides secured. Low pile with light wear. Top end has a professional corner reweave. That said still nice looking with the various bird motifs and the like and a narrow size. Just under 15 foot by 2 foot 8 inches. 457cm x 82cm. Fringes not measured in size. All woollen construction. This is one of a matching pair listed. U. K post £25. Item sold. Edz 70.
