Gold 16th - 17th Century Lovers Knot Ring

Description
16th - 17th century gold lovers knot ring. Displaying very fine filigree work making a figure of eight knot.Due to its size I suspect it was given by the man to his lover showing his commitment and loyalty.
To one side of the knot a small piece of the banding is just showing daylight through, nothing is missing and all still strong and wearable for a delicate ring.
The size is just over N for the UK and 7 for the USA.
A wonderful English love ring that would grace any collection
