Description
Extremely rare English Palaeolithic Ficron Hand Axe, my last piece from the late Sidney Horne collection. Again from Broom in Dorset and old label reading Pratts Pit, small old chip to the tip but patinated over.I believe this could be quartzite or chert stone rather than struck from a larger flint core.
Size 17cm long x 10cm at widest point.
