Original 1920's Art Deco Watercolour and Gouache Portrait of a young lady by George Cecil Bottomley.

A Fine three-quarter length portrait of a pretty young woman dressed in a period cape with a white fur collar,muffler and hat.

A winter snow scene complements the portrait. Stylised signature Geo Bottomley. ( George Cecil Bottomley.)

Included in the sale are a couple of postcards by the artist, this painting is probably a study for a similar glamour postcard.

George Cecil Bottomley 1894-1972 born in Tunbridge Wells. His family was from Bradford and they moved back to Bradford a few years after Georges birth. George exhibited several paintings at Cartwright Hall (Bradford Art Gallery).

Re framed probably in the 1980's.
