Description

Pair of iconic 1969 HRH Prince Charles of Wales investiture armchairs. The vintage armchairs were designed by 1st Earl of Snowdon. The armchairs have a red stained beech Bentwood frame, with the symbolic Prince of Wales' feathers and motto 'Ich Dien' to the backrest, and a Welsh red tweed cushioned seat.
Condition: a few marks on the original red tweed seat upholstery, they have had the foam replaced with 1” thick foam as the original foam had perished. There are a few small pieces of paint missing as per the photos. The chairs are comfortable and frames are in good condition.
