Very similar to one that Charles Dickens had on his desk! What a great gift for a Writer !
Victorian Solid Brass Inkwell c 1870.
In good original condition lid and hinge all strong and working well. Has not been cleaned or polished to
retain original patina.
Glass inner is broken see photo. Doesn't detract from good solid piece.
Size approx. 9.7 cm across base height including filial 7.5 cm. Weight approx. 325g
