Description
An Arts & Crafts ash armchair designed by Philip Clissett c.1890, Known as the "Clissett Highback" - This example was probably made by Gimson's apprentice Edward Gardiner c.1920's. Hand crafted with pegged construction. Sea grass seat.Offered in very good original condition. Some minor restoration. Simply cleaned and waxed maintaining the excellent patina.
Dimensions: Seat height 17", back height 45" and width 23.5"
