Description

An English, Cotswold School wardrobe after Peter Waals withg a lattice of sunken cushion panelling, dating c.1930s. Constructed in solid, well figured, English walnut with exposed through tenons, pegged and dovetailed joints together with wooden latch handles to the doors. The wardrobe comprises two hanging compartments, both with a top shelf.

Craftsman Maker: Fred Gardiner (1890-1963. Fred Gardiner had been an apprentice to Gimson at Daneway and later worked for Peter Waals at Chalford before setting up his own workshop in Oakridge.

Condition Offered in excellent condition.
