Description

Derek Slater, trained at Acorn Industries with Alan “Acornman” Grainger and later worked at Crayke, nr Easingwold. Derek Slater initially used a carved Fish trade mark before changing to a Lizard after joining Martin Dutton who was Robert "Mouseman" Thompson trained, working together in Yorkshire during the 1960’s. He works solely in oak. and this piece is one of several available on this site, originally commissioned for prestigious barristers' chambers.
These are 2 dining chairs with green leather covered seats and backs, each carved with the Lizardman's distinctive trademark on one of the legs. These show signs of use but are in very good condition. They would complement any of the 3 tables for sale here, also by Derek Slater, perfectly.
