Description

Late 19th century Sudanese Kaskara broadsword in its original tooled leather scabbard. Iron crosspiece on hilt, a leather bound grip and with a broad, double edged fullered blade. Has a double crescent mark on both sided of blade. There is general age wear overall with rust staining to blade and age related shrinkage to scabbard.

Approximately 98cm and blade 81.5cm.
