Description

Late 19th century Arabic Silver metal mounted Jambiya in its original embossed silver scabbard and with a hardwood grip which has a finally embossed end pommel. It has its original hanging straps and original hilt securer. Made overall in silver metal which is finally chased and embossed. On the reverse side of the scabbard there is an Arabic inscription. Has a curved, double edged blade with some age rust staining. Dagger fits tightly in scabbard and stay in when held upside down.

Approximately 41cm overall and blade 19cm.
