Bronze figure of a Girl by Van Der Straeten

Description
A bronze statue of a girl on a Sienna yellow marble base. Inscribed as by (Georges) Van der Straeten, a Belgian born sculpture who worked in the Paris Salon from 1885 to 1912. He was active until 1928. The figure has traces of the original gilding and is marked with a serial number at the bottom of the dress at the back. In fairly good overall condition but has some age wear.Approximately 35.5cm high including base. Width is 21cm and depth is 21cm.
