A stunning oak longcase clock with a 10 inch movement by Thomas Fardon, Adderbury
This 30 hour longcase clock is in a fabulous Oak Case, very typical of the period of Late 18th century.
The hood is decorated with a dentil moulding just below the Shaped cornice.
The trunk of the longcase is decorated with a glass observation window to see the pendulum swinging from left to right..
The door is also decorated with 2 scrolls.
Overall a fully restored and ready for delivery Longcase from a very desirable clock making family from Oxfordshire.
Dimensions are 83 1/2 inches tall.
21 1/2 inches across the top cornice and 11 1/2 inches across the middle of the Trunk.
12 inches deep at the top cornice..
