Painted circa 1914 and attributed to Scottish artist James B. Description

Artist
James B. Russell (1867–1956) was born in Edinburgh and worked within a family tradition of specialist fish painting. James continued this tradition into the early 20th century, combining realistic fish depiction with more atmospheric landscape handling.
