Description
A stunning bronze portrayal of a nude female posing with a butterfly on her shoulder, after French sculptor Leon Bertaux (1827-1910).This attractive piece sits over a solid marble socle. The bronze is beautifully patinated in line with its age, and bears the Parisien Founry Seal Coin. Bronze inscribed 'MME Leon Bertaux' after the original artist near the base of the statue.
Period: Edwardian (Circa 1910)
