Description

Large Georgian Sarcophagus Shaped Mahogany Sewing/ Needlework Box. Circa 1800.
Fitted interior with lift-out tray. Central hinged pin cushion in pink velvet with gold decorated corners, opens to reveal small recess below. Brass lion's paw feet (small wear-through holes to one) & brass loop carrying handles with coronette back plates. Good original condition.

Dimensions: Width 13 3/4" (35cm), Height 8" (20cm), Depth 12"(30.5cm)
