Description

A George 111 Sheffield plate butter dish and cover of oval form.Pierced and engraved decoration,claw and ball feet.Blue glass liner that could well be the original.
8"(20 cms) over handles,5"(13 cms) deep,7"(18cms) tall.
Condition:-The handles appear to have been re-attached or possibly replaced when replating was carried out some years ago.One foot seems to have been re-attached.
It looks spendid on the table and is ready for use.
