Very rare and beautiful early 19th century French Empire gilt bronze barber's or shaving mirror. Rectangular shaped pivoting mahogany framed mirror with original glass and candle arm. Foral decoration with acorn finials and adjustable star shaped key with lion claw feet clamp. Possibly later stand. Could be removed for wall mounting. Evocative period item and a rare survivor.
