Description

VERY RARE and most unusual Regency period heavy brass scaled down model of a fireplace which was obviously a salesman's sample as although small is far too big to have come out of a dolls house. This most unusual item is of high quality with heavy gauge brass used throughout and shows superb detail. The front two grates lift out and there is a hinged brass section at the back which can be held to various positions with a small brass ratchet obviously to do with how much clearance space is required for different chimneys.

Just a great piece of Georgian fun.
