Description

Good 18th century George 3rd Cuban mahogany and boxwood line inlaid tea cady in complete and original condition. Boxwood stringing to all corners and the base with nice shape inlaid boxwood escution. The brass swan neck handle to the top is original and has some nice decoration to the round plates. The box has all three of its original solid mahogany lids inside with brass axe head handles. The base of the box is covered in a faded green baize. A couple of pieces of boxwood stringing have been replaced otherwise this is in very good original condition. Nice colour with good patination and waxed finish.
