Good pair of early 20th century oil on canvas Scottish highland scene paintings by FRANCIS. E. JAMIESON in very nice original gilt frames. The pictures have been recently cleaned and are in good order. They have not been re-lined. Both pictures are exactly the same size in exactly the same gilt frames. Both pictures are signed J. McGREGOR which was one of Jamieson's well known pseudonyms.

Francis E. Jamieson was a prolific English artist who after a holiday to Scotland started painting highland scenes. He was so prolific he used a number of pseudonyms to try and hide his extra curricular work from his employers. Born 1895, Died 1950.
