Description

Late 19th century large handpainted paper and mother of pearl fan,c1860.Features a scene of a maiden in a country setting of a stream with cherubs and birds.Decorated mother of pearl struts and a plain reverse.In very good condition,some slight wear to the paper on the edges and a small repair on reverse,but all complete with no damage to the handpainted scene or struts.Length - 36cm.Width of fan when opened - 66cm.
