Description

A stunning early 20th century commode in the Louis XVI style. Of generous proportions and of elegant bombe form and with a Brocatelle violette du jura marble top. Of fine construction with mahogany and tulipwood veneers onto a mahogany and oak carcas. Decorated with profuse floral marquetry inlaid detailing throughout. Further embellished with crisply carved ormolu mounts. With a pair of lockable drawers (key supplied). Sympathetically repolished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home. The marble is removable for ease of installation.
