A splendid Edwardian period mahogany Pembroke table. of fine construction in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. These veneers have an almost iridescent quality, similar to that exhibited by satinwood. The table top and flaps are decorated with a pattern of ebony stringing inlay, this stringing continues to the front, rear and down the legs. The single bow fronted drawer is fitted with its original charming ebonised small bun handles. The tables flaps can be raised (and supported) into position when desired. The whole table stands on long, elegant tapering legs which terminate in spade feet. This attractive, versatile and desirable table is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
