Description

This is a charming late 19th / early 20th century 800 Silver Trinket or Ring Dish in the Arts & Crafts style. It has a daisy-like appearance with a smooth round centre, planished or hammered petals and a beaded rim. It would look very elegant on any dressing table or bedside cabinet or would work equally well for small items of stationery on a desk.

The dish has a weevil mark on the round centre which is the French mark for imported 800 / 1000 grade silver items. There is no makers' mark.

Condition is very good with no dings or dents and just the most minimal superficial surface wear that has to be expected in an item of this age and use. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The dish is 10.3cm / 4ins in diameter and stands 1.4cm / 0.5ins high. It weighs in at a respectable 33g / 1.1oz of solid silver.
