Description

Here we have a very elegant Continental Silver and Mother of Pearl Jam or Preserve Spoon from the late 19th or early 20th century. The spoon has an engraved design of leaves and berries in the bowl with a spiral cut Mother of Pearl stem mounted in silver and a silver ball finial.

The spoon is unmarked but tests as silver, probably 800 or 830 grade.

Condition is very good with no dings or dents and no damage to the mother of pearl. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The spoon is 16.5cm / 6.5ins long and weighs 33.5g / 1.2oz, but this does of course include the mother of pearl section.
