Description

Here we have a good pair of late Georgian Brass Candlesticks from the early years of the nineteenth century. Both candlesticks have their original push-rod ejectors in working order.

The candlesticks stand on an octagonal base with a double cone stem rising from it, which in turn has a geometric knop towards the top. The fixed sconce is a straight cylinder.

The sticks stand 24.5cm / 9.6ins high and the pair together weigh 870g / 30.6oz.

Condition is generally very good although one candlestick has a very slightly misshapen corner. The patina of the brass is really nice. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

As with the vast majority of brass candlesticks from this era, there is no makers\' mark on them.
