Description

This is a neat George V Sterling Silver Mustard Spoon in the traditional Old English pattern. The spoon is made in Sheffield by famous silversmiths Walker & Hall and dates to 1921.

This is a plain silver mustard spoon with no initials or personalisation of any kind. It is suitable for use with the smaller type of mustard pots that became common in the 20th century.

Condition is very good with no dings, dents or corrosion and only the superficial surface wear that has to be expected after 100 years of service. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The mustard spoon is 7.3cm / 2.9" long and weighs in at 5.1g / 0.18oz.

The hallmarks on the underside of the stem are well struck and clear to read. They show the lion passant for Sterling Silver, the crown assay mark for Sheffield, the date letter "d" for 1921 and the W & H makers' mark for Walker & Hall.
