Buchanan and Laing (Prima Finds)

Description

Dating to around 1910, this is a fine example of a folding mahogany cake stands. Hexagonal dished shelves designed to seat securely the afternoon tea plates. A lovely original and has great colour. Each shelf is secured to the single arch frame by brass dome head slotted screws, the third leg attaches to the shelves with brass hinges and when opened up a high quality and strong locking folding brass arm is attached to the leg and the middle shelf.

Size: overall height is 89 cm, the max width of the frame is 28 cm and each shelf is 25 cm wide.

Condition is excellent, all original, no repairs and everything is secure and functioning properly. It has been polished , cleaned but not restored to as new.
