Buchanan and Laing (Prima Finds)

Description

A Victorian, large Staffordshire flatback spill vase. This model is of a Girl on a bridge with a swimming swan under the arch and a fox hidden around the corner of the bank. It is a complex model dating to circa 1850. Good colourway and well decorated in the usual naïve fashion associated with these figures.

Size: 16 cm wide by 22cm high, 7cm deep, unpacked weight 717gms.

Condition: There is overall a well presented and decorated piece, however there is a loss to the rear leg of the fox which must be taken into account. It is a good example of this model and for this reason, believe it would be a good addition to a collection. We do always take into account condition when valuing and pricing any item and this relatively low price for this model reflects the loss.
