Buchanan and Laing (Prima Finds)

Description

A quality Edwardian Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal, large round table scent bottle, having a half plain and half decorative round mount, a push lid, an internal original stopper also one that illustrates the attention to detail - flat and facet cut , the shoulders are panel cut the hand-cut main body with hobnail and the base star cut. Made by Henry Mathews of Birmingham in 1907.

The sizes: height 12 cms (4.5 inches), and diameter 9 cms (3.75 inches).

Condition is excellent, the chased decoration is of particular note, in high relief and showing no signs of use , the plain area of the lid and silver neck collar are also in fine condition, the top fit is perfect and the original stopper undamaged and also fits perfectly. The crystal is undamaged and also clean and clear
