A framed pair of sailor's sea chest rope beckett handles. Artistically painted in royal blue with red hearts and circles. A matching pair of extraordinary colour, condition and form. Each swag rope handle constructed from twine-covered rope coated with Turk's head knot, retaining their original bracket cut from the ends of a sea chest now artfully framed with a dark antique painted wooden frame.Date19th Century
