Description
A mid 20th century pigeon decoy with crisp unaltered paint history. The incredible survivor remarkably retains its original stand, which ingeniously tucks into the cavity in its under belly, designed to be held in place by an integral movable flange. Its original paint eyes and beak are also as undisturbed as the day it was made. No restoration or alteration of surface history to embellish or enhance this example. While a stand is currently being fabricated to display this example, it is currently being offered as is.Date1940s :
