This highly detailed cast bronze billiard table corner pocket has been sculpted to incorporate the face of an elegant woman. The shape suggests it was used as a corner pocket, and typical of these artefacts, it is hinged and weighted to present the ball to players once it has received the ball in play. Wonderful patination and detail and scale combine to place it in a collector’s category of distinction and rarity. Stand not included.DateMid 19th Century
