Description

A good quality mahogany library table circa 1850 bearing the makers stamp of the eminent cabinet making firm of Holland and Sons, who amongst many notable commissions supplied numerous items of furniture to Queen Victoria's Isle of Wight residence Osborne House.
The table has two mahogany lined drawers to the front with original locks and turned wooden knob handles, the reverse having two recessed panels. The whole is raised on shaped trestle ends united by a turned wooden stretcher supported on turned wooden bun feet with concealed castors. The table is in very good fully restored condition and measures as follows.
Max width 115cm, Max depth 68.5cm, Max Height 74 cm.
