Description: Neapolitan Louis Philippe mirror from the first half of the 19th century, entirely carved, engraved, and gilded with gold leaf.

The mirror presents itself as a triumph of carved wood, with a movement that develops from bottom to top, where its full finesse can be appreciated.

The cornice is a succession of rocaille scrolls with a plant motif, with a shell at the center. 130 x 190 cm (H) (51 x 75 in).

The mirror is made of mercury glass and is contemporary with the wooden frame.
