A rare pair of wonderful mid 18th century Chippendale stands in mahogany. With circular tops with carved surround, raised on a fluted column and terminating on a triform base with ball and claw feet. English, Circa 1750.A similar "Neat Stand" is shown in the book "Early Georgian Furniture" by Adam Bowett, page 207, plate 5:13.
