Description

116 pieces of Malmaison pattern flatware by the French silversmith Christofle
The design of the “Malmaison” collection from the Parisian silversmith Christofle was inspired by the French Empire style of the early nineteenth century. This series of sophisticated silver products picks up popular motifs from that period, for example the stylistic arrangements of palm leaves and lotus flowers.

The silver plated collection was introduced in the late 1960s and had the largest items available in this pattern, to buy this set of 116 pieces today from Christofle would be in the region of £12,000.

The set includes:
12 dinner knives
12 dinner forks
12 dinner spoons
12 tea spoons
