Description
A good looking slim oak glazed bookcase with a handy cupboard and little slide out tray. British made and of a utilitarian design from around the mid 1940s and as mentioned is slimmer than most and in oak for a change.It’s a simple combination of sliding glass doors with adjustable shelves inside, a cupboard to the right with useful pigeon hole style compartments to the top and a shelf below with that little slide out tray to max space.
Workshop report – The piece has been carefully repolished and waxed so the grain to the veneer is looking good. The glass doors are crack free and sliding as they should. We do have a small sliver of oak veneer missing on the bottom of the cupboard door and a little chip to the lower side at the rear so not noticeable and not fresh. We have no lock or key but the door is sitting straight.
A great looking piece of post-war British furniture in oak.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.
Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
