Description

Very handsome burnished iron and aged brass king size bed with taper tube end posts and original castors. Made by Winfield. Carefully cleaned and preserved. Original brass has a few knocks commensurate with age. Good definition in decorative castings in head end. Foot end comprises of brass tubes with elegant little rod ends. Side rails strengthened and adapted to support wood slats and a modern king size mattress 150cm x 200 cm.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Photograph taken with 2" base. Price £225.
