Description

French classic Victorian king size bed with lovely individual original brass fittings and castors. Good definition in pretty decorative castings. The bed has been professionally restored with rails strengthend, lengthened and adapted to support slats and modern king size mattress 150cm x 200 cm. Jojts have been checked for good fit. Frame shot blasted and then primed prior to hand finish in Little Greene paint company mid lead grey and waxed. The French classics were often slightly lower than their English counterparts.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Photograph taken with 2" base.
