Description

Very individual and rare French super king size brass and iron bed. Interesting brass detail with mixture of ovals, caps and square top rail. Traditional French lower heights. Original aged brass carefully cleaned to preserve aged patina.Pleasing detail in decorative castings. Original castors can be removed Carefully and sympathetically restored with side rails strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. Central support rail. Frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint in Little Greene paint company darkest lead. Waxed to preserve. Suitable for super king size mattress 180cm x 200 cm.
