Description

Stunning early Victorian brass and iron double bed. Very individual iron details as found on beds made by Scholbred of London. Original porcelain castors. The bed has been sympathetically restored with the frame shot blasted, primed and hand finished in Little Greene paint company black with wax over. Original brass has been lightly cleaned to preserve natural aged patina. Can be highly polished if preferred.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" platform top mini box base for £195.These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses.
